The most important project in my rescue and animal protection career
Aa a Bosnian animal welfare attorney and rescuer, I am trying to link both compassion and expertise. By day, I bring justice to corrupt government officials responsible for the widespread neglect at municipal dog pounds. By night, I take care of many sick and orphaned dogs and cats.
This year I started creating a rescue center of her own, which would be a very big cost savings over my existing process of having to place each rescued animal into a paid boarding center while waiting for an adopter.
The rescue center is on the site of an older property which is being rennovated for the dogs. Things are progressing beautifully. the finished site will include a secure building for the dogs to sleep at night and stay safe during bad weather and a big yard for them to play in.

Animals suffer in silence and they cannot raise their voice against injustice and save themselves, only rescuers can do that for them and as a rescuer, a lawyer and an animal righths advocate with 15 years of experience, I know how important work of all of us is and how big our responsibility is.
We do our best to provide the best possible support for our animals, there are no many private shelters that have successfully gone through veterinary inspection supervision. Also, we moved dogs, which had previously saved from torture and attrocities of Bosnian streets and killing pounds, from pensions to beautiful shelter in nature.
Your role and part in that achievement is huge and I am grateful for all your help and support.
There is no so strong bound as the bound between rescued animal and rescuer…
Look at all these wonderful dogs… All of them have been saved from horros of Bosnian streets. They have been saved from dog catchers, death camps, they have been sick or injured and saved. I need your help to provide food and safety for them. We are the only they have… please don’t forget them
We see fear, pain and suffering, but also we see something that no one can explain in the eyes of stray animals. They have look which says, “My world is destroyed”, “I have been betrayed”. There are no words to explain the pain in their eyes. There are no words to explain how tortured dogs behave, how frightened they are, but only tortured animals know what they feel in their souls.
The important thing is That we all make difference. Love makes miracles and thanks to your willingness to find out more about Bosnian situation and your wish to help Bosnian stray animals, many lives have been and will be saved. Rescued animals will get better conditions and new opportunities to help will be provided.
Animals suffer in silence and making the difference is the biggest thing we can do. Making a difference Means being Their voice. We must be Their voice as well as Their Saviors.
Saving one life makes a difference; every life saved is worthwhile and important. Being the voice of animals is something That can change things for all animals, and That can end this nightmare once and for all.
